These goods can be proportionally combined within the same category.
Consequently, when an allowance is partially used for one product, the remainder can be carried over to one or all of the products in the same category.

Calculating allowances

You may not combine the allowances of several passengers for a single purchase.
For all goods, the value of which exceeds the allowance, you must complete an import declaration and pay the necessary duties and taxes.
If you are bringing back several items, those for which the cumulative value does not exceed the authorized sum will be allowed within your allowance.

A typical calculation

You are bringing back two items, with a value of €150 and €50.
The total value (€200) exceeds the authorized allowance.
One item will be allowed within your allowance and the other will be taxed on its entire value.

Exceeding allowances

Additionally, any goods exceeding the quantity allowances will be taxed.
Taxation types: customs duties, VAT, miscellaneous (fiscal or other taxation).
