Information on Corsairfly procedures

Corsairfly complies with all airline regulations in force and all IATA procedures.

Prepaid shipment only (collect shipment prohibited)

A discharge of liability, signed by the sender, must accompany the AWB for each AVI shipment.

Corsairfly is approved to transport hazardous materials (ok PAX).

However, the following are prohibited on Corsairfly aircraft:

  • Radioactive products (IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation - class 7)
  • Petrol- or diesel-engine vehicles must be prepared in accordance with Corsairfly procedures (the battery must be disconnected, in particular).
  • Corsairfly aircraft will not accept poisonous animals or insects or animals with diseases that may be transmitted to humans.

Check-in deadlines, SFS ORY:

  • General Cargo 4hrs in advance
  • HUM 3.5hrs in advance (Possibility of storage)
  • AVI on pallets 3.5hrs in advance
  • AVI bulk 3hrs in advance
  • Grand Large Class 2.5hrs in advance

Windshields: Rigid packaging required, in a crate that allows viewing. Otherwise, discharge of liability required.

OBX : Airline approval required


PER : Delivery between 4 and 6 hours prior to take-off.
DESSICANT required for all shipments of > 500 kg.
PEP : Height of palette limited and specific company procedures=> contact us.

HUM :24-hour contact must be specified on the AWB.

VOLUME and WEIGHT : Random checks at aircraft departure and arrival. Any discrepancy noted during an inspection shall be addressed in a CCA.

In the event of a no-show, Corsairfly reserves the right to bill for costs associated with cancelling a reservation.

Rates

The rates are based on chargeable weight (1 kg = 6 DM3).

In addition, the following charges are applicable (on gross weight):

  • IRC/Risk of war tax
  • MYC/Fuel surcharge

And the AWB charge.

Corsairfly Equipment

To best meet our customers' needs, Corsairfly has invested in ULDs adapted to each kind of traffic: P1P, PMC, PKC, PLA and aluminum frames. Our equipment is at your service!

Terms and conditions for loan of equipment:

Customers who palletize their consolidated shipments themselves may borrow the ULDs. Each loan must be accompanied by an equipment loan note, signed by both parties. Unless otherwise stated, every pallet is lent with a net and the necessary pins (18), which must be returned with the pallet.
The company reserves the right to charge the customer for the replacement or repair of equipment that is not returned in good condition and within a reasonable time.

Dispute procedures

All claims must be accompanied by a complete file and submitted within the time period established by aviation regulations:

  • The claim must be made based on the shipment's total weight (in the case of a consolidated shipment, the entire MAWB must be re-weighed)
  • A complaint letter must be sent to the Corsairfly representative:
    - Damage: Within 14 days of receipt of the shipment.
    - Delay: Within 21 days of shipment availability.
  • If your shipment is insured, please inform the company and ask your insurer to prepare the file.

Complaints are handled in accordance with the Montreal Convention, which sets airline liability limits.
