Transit flights
Definitions
A direct flight is identified by means of a single flight number. It can be:
- A direct flight without stopover, i.e. a flight which does not stop at another airport and which operates directly between point A and point B without landing between the two.
- A direct flight with stopover(s) includes one or several stopover(s) in order (among other things) to refuel or clean the aircraft. According to the case in question, you can remain inside the aircraft while waiting for new passengers to board or disembark or you may be invited to leave the aircraft and head for the transit lounge.
A non-direct flight or "connecting flight" involves a change of aircraft. At the transit airport, you will be asked to proceed to the transit area where you will then continue your journey onboard a new aircraft (belonging to Corsairfly or to one of its partner companies).
